Bachelor of Management Studies

Bachelor of Management Studies or BMS is a full-time course of three year duration. The Bachelor of Management Studies is introduced with the aim of producing trained management professionals in today`s competitive market.

The Department of Management Studies focuses on management education more than just business management. The commitment is thought leadership with a deep understanding of business. This degree programme is handled by experienced full-time as well as visiting faculty pulled from various service and industrial sectors. The course structure of Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), affiliated to SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, includes an exhaustive training with the help of latest technological devices, industrial visits, and practical experience and summer placements wherever it is possible.

The career options include Marketing, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, to name a few.

Year I: 1st Year helps to develop a strong foundation to the management students as they come from diversified backgrounds. This helps in developing a basic understanding of the core subjects such as Principles of Management, Business Environment, Finance and Accounting and Managerial Economics.

Year II: It covers more focused areas like Human Resources, Marketing, Business Statistics and Business Law.

Year III: The final year emphasizes more in-depth knowledge about the areas including Organizational behavior, Industrial relations, Logistics and distribution system, Production Management, Customer Relationship Management, Advertisement and Sales promotion. This year leads to developing entrepreneurial skills among the students.
