Costume Jewellery Design – 3/6 Months
This course has been designed to give an over view of jewellery, where students will design and develop costume jewellery which would be experiential yet wearable inspired by global trends. Students would be exposed to all kinds of materials to enable them to create their own design
Embroidery and printing – 3/ 6 months
India has strong textile and garment base and has a rich heritage of embroidery and printing, students would be exposed to contemporary embroidery design using traditional embroidery stitches. Surface decoration course allows students to decorate their textile through painting , batik , tie-die, block or screen printing.
After 3 months of exposure students would be ready to apply embroidery and printing techniques on wrapping paper greeting cards and ceramic apart from fabrics.
Creative pattern making - 6 months
To give 3 dimensional shape to one simple sketch of a garment on paper , student should have thorough knowledge of pattern making. This course enables students to think beyond construction of basic garment , it helps them to learn that the same garment can be made using different and right pattern making techniques. 6 months of in-depth knowledge of pattern making will enable the students to create pattern of apparels like strapless blouses or dresses, halter neck garment , bias cut skirt or tops and much more.
Boutique – 6 months
The focus of this course is towards the rapid and significant growth of apparel in domestic and export industry. The aim is to provide service to domestic market with creative wearable garments which are aesthetically beautiful. The student should have a fair amount of knowledge of elements of design, pattern making and garment construction.
6 month module is designed so as to enable the students to create and manufacture garments and also at the same time expose them to the importance of production, marketing and retail management.
